If you want a more attractive smile, ClearCorrect® may be your answer. ClearCorrect is an alternative to traditional braces and Invisalign®. The treatment is similar to Invisalign, and includes custom-made aligner trays which are nearly invisible! No wires or metal brackets as with traditional orthodontic treatments.
People choose ClearCorrect treatment to correct severe crowding, cross-bite, gaps between teeth, or overbite problems. The process involves three easy steps:
- First, your dentist examines you, takes x-rays, photos and impressions.
- Step two is making a series of custom-designed clear aligners.
- In step 3, you will receive your aligners. You will wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks.
One major benefit of ClearCorrect over traditional orthodontics is that you can take them out to eat or brush your teeth. Approximately every 6-8 weeks you will see the doctor for a check-up.
Treatment can vary as each case is different and is custom to your smile. ClearCorrect can help you have a great smile in as little as 6 months, depending on the amount of correction you need. Our patients say that their new improved smiles give them the confidence they need to succeed in their personal, professional, and social lives.

ClearCorrect: What to Expect
5 Cleaning Tips for Your ClearCorrect Aligners
Rinse Your Aligners
Whenever you take your aligners out, be sure to rinse them with warm water. Saliva and plaque can easily gather in them, which can create the ideal environment for bacteria to breed.
Soak Your Aligners
Be sure to soak your aligners at least an hour a day in a solution like Denture Cleaner or the Invisalign cleaning crystals to sanitize them. Avoid just leaving them out, as this can expose them to more bacteria, or even cause you to misplace them.
Brush Your Teeth
Make sure to brush and floss before you put your aligners in. The aligners can trap the plaque on your teeth and make it much easier to cause tooth decay or bad breath.
Brush Your Aligners
Just like your teeth, plaque and bacteria can build up on your aligners. Be sure to brush gently so you do not scratch your aligners. You may even want to invest in a soft bristle brush. Use a clear anti-bacterial soap, as dark soaps can actually stain your aligners. Regular toothpaste (especially those with whitening properties) can be very abrasive and scratch your aligners. These scratches can create areas for plaque and bacteria to gather.
Drink Water
Try to only drink water while you are wearing ClearCorrect. Many other foods and drinks can stain and discolor your aligners. The closed-off, damp environment is perfect for bacteria, which can lead to tooth decay and bad breath.
