I had a teeth cleaning last Thursday, early October 2026 with Dr Rever’s office that was above and beyond my experiences with other dentists and I plan to be using Advanced Total Dental Care, for all my dental needs. Kathy was the hygienist and in the course of cleaning, flossing and taking X rays (she asked me if that was OK), she discovered some decay under one of my crowns. She also asked if I would like a fluoride treatment and I said yes and that was done at the very end of the visit. Dr Rever came in right after that and looked at that tooth and verified that it would become a cavity and better to remove the decay under the crown now and make a new crown. He said he couldn’t put the old one back because the tooth shape will have changed once the decay was cleaned out and putting a new crown in was the only logical option. We scheduled that for next week. Dr Rever also carefully examined a few others that Kathy had pointed out but nothing I needed to take action on now, but could wait until the next cleaning and see if we need to address them then. I found his explanations technical enough that I understood him without going into the dental mumbospeak that I have encountered in the past. I believe that he is both looking out for my dental POV and my wallet. The coordination between the staff was very good, there was very little wasted time and I would, without any conditions, highly recommend Dr Rever, DDS and Advanced Total Dental Care.
