Botox & Dermal Fillers: What to Expect
Dr. Rever will discuss your cosmetic concerns and goals to be sure that Botox® or Juvederm® are right for you. The number of injections recommended will be determined by the number of areas to be treated and the desired result. Typically, treatment is completed in about 30 minutes and you can resume your normal activities right after.
We will apply a topical anesthetic for your comfort and Dr. Rever will place the injections in the area(s) to be treated using a very thin needle. Most patients feel only a brief pinching sensation as the injection is administered. You may experience minor tenderness, redness or swelling at the injection site for a couple of days. Your results will begin to emerge and become more noticeable over the coming weeks.
Your results will last for approximately 6 months and can be touched up at regular intervals during routine dental care appointments. This can enable you to conveniently maintain a refreshed, youthful appearance as well as healthy, beautiful smile in one location.
